Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept payments via World Pay or Pay Pal. We accept Visa and Mastercard and debit cards. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. You may send your credit card information via phone, snail mail or over the Internet.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling Postage and packing charges in the UK are as follows:

First Class Package £3.50 - on orders up to £29.99
FREE - on orders over £30.00

Shipping outside the UK is calculated by the weight of the goods plus a nominal amount for packaging. Shipping charges are calculated at the checkout.
Delivery Schedule We aim to offer you the best service humanly possible. We despatch goods usually within 2 - 3 working days (the next day if we possibly can), using Royal Mail First Class Post.

Shipping to the Republic of Ireland using Air Mail.

If you need items in a hurry because you simply can't wait to cast on, or it is an urgent gift (lets face it we have all left things until the last minute) give us a call and we will find the fastest solution for your dilemma!
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait and we will arrange a swift refund for you.

Returns Policy Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at

All products are new and guaranteed free from fault. Should any item fail to satisfy then we will accept their return for a full refund of the value of the goods or a credit if they are returned carriage paid to us within 7 postal days. This period commences on the day after you receive the goods. Returned goods are subject to being received by us in their original unused condition.

Sale items: Sale Items will only be refunded where the goods are faulty.

For instructions on how to return goods which are not faulty, please send an email to enquiries and request a returns form which contains instructions for returning goods (please give your name, postcode, date of receipt of order and order number). We cannot accept liability for goods returned which do not reach us or are damaged due to inadequate packaging - therefore it is essential that you follow the instructions on the returns form to ensure you have proof of postage should you need to make a claim. This can only be done by the sender of the parcel, not the recipient.

Should any item prove to be faulty either on receipt or after a reasonable amount of use then the goods may be returned for either a replacement or a full refund irrespective of the condition of the packaging, but subject to the product not having been abused or misused in any way. This will be determined by either ourselves or our suppliers depending on the item in question and our supplier's policy with regard to faulty goods. We will refund the cost of returning faulty goods.

In the case of "damaged in transit" items, we will refund the cost of returning them subject to our carrier having inspected the goods and the packaging in accordance with the terms of our insurance. If your goods arrived damaged, please ensure you keep the packaging - we cannot pursue a claim for damaged goods, nor can we replace your items if you throw the packaging away!

Items such as patterns and books will not be accepted for return, due to copyright issues, unless we have sent the wrong items. Items such as yarn will not accepted as returns if they are tainted by odour such as pets or smoke or if they are unwound.

This does not affect your statutory rights.
